my first blog. this is my attempt at being up-to-date with the latest in technology fads and a space to articulate what goes on in my head. not too sure what kind of stuff I'm going to put on here, but hopefully it will be somewhat informative and 'educational.' a quick note about online journaling. it's extremely popular and people get into it. some reasons i thought why people get into it: 1) people in general like stories. online journals are forms of stories that people can relate to. 2) people feel safe to express themselves through the impersonal computer, without having to fear what people might think of them. 3) there is a sense of voyeurism that stimulates the mind. the fact that you can read up on someone's thoughts without them ever knowing about it, is strangely appealing to our fallen nature. whatever the case, it gives room for people to express themselves in ways that otherwise would never have. cheers to blogspot.
