part 3 on blogspot.com. have you wondered who the audience is for blogspot? is it the world? is it those who know my blogspot address? is it me? communication is not just one way. there's always a transmitter and a recipient. i can imagine there would be times when i would write knowing that certain people are reading it. and then there would be other times when it would seem like i'm writing to myself, as if i need to tell myself what happened that day and what i was thinking about that day. although it's available to the whole world, the people who read this stuff would most likely have some kind of connection with the writer (friends, acquaintances, family, enemies, self), even if it's to the sixth degree. so in that sense, you can rule out 'the world.' of course, unless you were some famous rockstar, in which case then millions and millions of devoted fans would read it... and end up clogging the bandwidth so eventually nobody would be able to read it.

btw, it's good to be in school again. ah, the late nights writing papers, the early mornings cramming the last word in for that quiz, and yes, the power naps in the library. but this time, there's actual couches in the library. there's also a great sense of comraderie among other students. people are strangely encouraged to know that they're not the only ones suffering from greek and hebrew. i'm pretty thankful for my hebrew classmates. there's this 'leave no man behind' kind of attitude. 'we're-all-in-it-together-and-we're-all-going-to-survive-it-together' kind of thing.
